1. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. In the case of a single order delivered in several shipments, the period begins upon receipt of the last goods; where goods are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces, it begins upon receipt of the last partial shipment or piece.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform VAN TOL, Jonas Leonhard Moser, Erbprinzenstraße 22, 79098 Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, email: info@vantol.ch, telephone: +49 160 4558360, of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter or email). You may use the model withdrawal form below, but this is not mandatory.

You may also exercise your right of withdrawal using the prominently available "Withdraw from contract" function at https://vantol.ch/widerruf during the withdrawal period. After using this function, you will promptly receive an electronic acknowledgement containing the content of your withdrawal declaration and the date and time of receipt.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your statement concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

2. Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including any cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered by us, without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after we receive your withdrawal declaration. Additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive type of delivery will not be reimbursed. As VAN TOL currently offers free standard shipping within the European Union, there will normally be no shipping costs to reimburse.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise, we will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction. You will not incur any additional fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than fourteen days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal, to the following address:

The return deadline is met if you send the goods before the fourteen-day period has expired.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods. For high-value jewellery, we recommend a trackable shipping method with transport insurance appropriate to the value of the goods; exercising the statutory right of withdrawal does not depend on following this recommendation.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

3. Exclusion of the right of withdrawal for personalised goods

The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are not prefabricated and whose manufacture is decisively determined by your individual choice or decision, or which are clearly tailored to your personal needs.

For VAN TOL, this applies in particular to jewellery with an engraving individually produced according to your instructions and to other products that are expressly identified before the order is placed as personalised special orders and that meet the statutory requirements.

Merely selecting regular options offered in the shop - in particular ring size, metal, metal colour or stone type - is not treated by VAN TOL as sufficient on its own to exclude the right of withdrawal. Your statutory rights in respect of defective goods remain available for engraved or otherwise personalised products.
