VAN TOL is a young European jewellery house being built deliberately from its first line onwards.
We have no date to invoke and we are not inventing one. Many young houses pretend to be old, and we consider that the one mistake you cannot undo at the beginning.
What we have instead is the beginning itself, and it is being written down while it happens. The early drawings, the first collections and the designs that never became a piece are all still kept together.
In twenty years this archive will be the history other houses claim.
