Materials

What a piece is.

← The House

Our gold is solid, through and through, and never plated or filled. Solid does not mean pure, because 585 (14 ct) and 750 (18 ct) are alloys, and the whole piece is made of that alloy rather than of a base metal with a layer of gold on top.

Which gold sits in your piece is stated on every single one, with fineness, karat and colour.

With diamonds we work with stones grown in nature and with stones grown in a laboratory. Both are diamond, pure carbon in the same crystal, and the difference lies only in the time it took. Which one sits in your piece is stated alongside it.

The same holds for metal, karat, stone and setting, which we state in full. We do not think of that as an extra but as the ground under every other sentence we write about a piece.
